Fast Eddie's Pit Beef in Fallston: 30 Years and Way More Than Pit Beef

by Josh Tessier

Fast Eddie's Pit Beef and Catering has been serving pit beef in Fallston since 1996, so this year makes 30 years. It's at 2807 Belair Road, and the menu goes way past pit beef.

What's on the menu at Fast Eddie's?

Pit beef is what they're known for. But when I asked Joey what else they have, here's the list:

Pit beef, pit ham, and pit turkey
Wings
Ribs and hot dogs
The Super Cheeseburger: a cheeseburger with pit beef, ham, turkey, or Italian sausage on top

My take? Their dogs and ribs are worth the trip too.

What should I order if I can't decide?

Get the Trio. It's ham, turkey, and pit beef on one sandwich. Then pick your toppings. Joey told me they have 12 condiments. Can't pick one sandwich? I got two. Problem solved.

I can't come here without getting the burnt ends. When I filmed, they were on the menu, so ask for them.
