Jarrettsville Creamery & Deli: Homemade Ice Cream and Lunch in One Stop

What fall treats did I try?

When I filmed in September, we tried their fall specials:

• Apple Cider Donut Sundae
• Caramel Apple Pie Sundae
• Apple Cider Float, which was new this year

The cider and the donuts come from Lohr's Orchard, here in Harford County. The cider mixed with the donuts and the ice cream just works. Seasonal items change, so call ahead if you want one.

What if I don't want a fall flavor?

No problem. When I filmed, they had 28 other flavors in the case. The ice cream is made in-house.

What did I get for lunch?

We got the Reuben, the mac and cheese, and a grilled cheese. Chili season is here too, and in my opinion the chili is great.

And look at the size of the cookies. They're massive. Plan to share. Or don't. I won't tell.

When is Jarrettsville Creamery open?

• The deli closes 30 minutes before the store does.
• Phone: 410-692-5100
