The Nest on Main at 110 S. Main Street is my pick when you need a gift in downtown Bel Air and don't know what to buy. It's been open since October 2017 and carries work from almost 30 local artists.

What can you buy at The Nest on Main?

A gift for pretty much any reason. Holidays, birthdays, a friend, your spouse. Here's some of what I saw when I filmed:

• A hand-painted guinea hen imported from France
• Fun glasses and serving pieces
• Little birthday cakes with the candle already in
• Home decor
• Art from local makers

This isn't your normal gift shop. The stock changes almost every day.

Does The Nest have baby and kids gifts?

Yes. When I filmed, they had onesies, kids clothes, stuffed animals, water bottles, books, and blankets.

What if I don't know what to buy?

Go in and talk to Kathi. She owns the shop, and she and her team will help you find something.

Will they wrap my gift?

Yes. When I filmed, they'd wrap it, tag it, and send you on your way. Good if you're on your way to the party.

When is The Nest on Main open?

• Tuesday to Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM to 3 PM
• Monday: closed
• Phone: 410-838-5300
