Bell's Tower is a small new townhome community in Bel Air, built by Ward Communities. New homes start at $459,990, and every home has a garage.

A lot of people still call them "the Bob Ward townhomes." Here's why, plus what you get and what to ask before you buy.

What is Bell's Tower?

It's 38 three-story townhomes on a cul-de-sac. Each one has a garage.

It's the last phase of Country Walk. That's off W. Wheel Road near Tollgate Road, in the Bel Air South area.

The builder calls the style Craftsman.

Why do people call them Bob Ward townhomes?

Because of who builds them.

Bob Ward Homes built a lot of Harford County. In January 2021, Bob Ward Companies sold its homebuilding business to a new company called Ward Communities.

Ward Communities is owned by long-time Bob Ward leaders. Earl Robinson is the president. The company says it carries on the Bob Ward Homes legacy.

Bob Ward kept a custom home company, Bob Ward Trademark Homes.

So Bell's Tower is a Ward Communities project. Same roots. New name.

How much are Bell's Tower townhomes?

As of Oct. 24, 2026:

The builder's Parkland plan page shows "starting at $489,990," so ask which homesites hit the lower price.

Prices change. Builders add options, lot premiums and incentives. Always ask for the full price sheet.

What do you get in the Parkland plan?

The main plan is the Parkland. Here's the short list from the builder:

• 3 bedrooms
• 2.5 to 3 baths
• About 1,969 square feet, 3 stories
• Oversized 1-car garage
• Open floor plan, front to back
• Granite counters and maple cabinets
• Big kitchen island
• Stainless appliances
• Laundry on the bedroom level

The lower level comes unfinished. Use it for storage or finish it later as a rec room, office or gym.

Where is Bell's Tower?

Off W. Wheel Road in Bel Air. From I-95, take Route 24 north. Turn left on W. Wheel Road. Go straight through the circle. Bell's Tower Court is on the left.

You're close to Route 24 and I-95. That makes trips to Baltimore or APG easier.

Is Bell's Tower in Bel Air 21014 or 21015?

You'll see both online. The builder's site says 21014. MLS listings say 21015. Your deed and the post office decide what's right for your address. Ask the sales team.

What should you ask before you buy a new townhome?

This is the same list I walk buyers through on new builds:

1. What's the HOA fee? And what does it cover?
2. Is there a front foot fee? Some new Maryland communities have a yearly charge that pays back the cost of water and sewer lines. Maryland law says the builder must tell you about it in the contract.
3. What schools? Check your exact address with the HCPS school locator. Don't trust a listing.
4. What's included? Get the standard features list in writing.
5. What's the warranty? Ask what's covered and for how long.
6. Can I use my own agent? Ask the builder about their agent rules before your first visit.
7. Can I get my own inspection? Yes. Do it, even on new homes.

Can I visit the model?

Yes. The builder lists the model at 2302 Bell's Tower Ct. as open daily, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call ahead to confirm before you go.
