In 2026, Santa starts at Jarrettsville Nurseries and Bel Air's Winter Wonderland over Thanksgiving weekend. He's at Santa Land in Havre de Grace after the Dec. 4 parade, the Liriodendron, Aberdeen's breakfast and the Highland tractor parade after-party on Dec. 5, and the Bel Air parade Dec. 6. Dec. 12 brings a tea party and Beers with Santa.

2025 dates, 2026 not yet announced:

Mt. Ararat Lodge lighting, Bel Air: Sun., Dec. 7, 2025, at 6 p.m. Santa met kids in the lodge after, and each child could pick a free toy. It was free.
Harford Holidays at Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen: the IronBirds' release listed Dec. 4, 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2025, with light displays and holiday activities.

Where can I have breakfast with Santa?

Aberdeen, Sat., Dec. 5, 2026. Breakfast with Santa is part of the 49th Christmas Street Celebration. It's at Grace United Methodist Church on W. Bel Air Ave. You can eat in or carry out. Times and prices aren't posted yet.

Fire companies, schools and churches across the county usually hold Santa breakfasts in mid-December. Abingdon, Sat., Dec. 12, 2026. Abingdon Fire Company's Breakfast with Santa runs 7-10 a.m. at Station 1, 3306 Abingdon Rd. The company lists breakfast, holiday cheer and photos with Santa. 2026 prices aren't posted yet. Is there a tea party with Santa?

Yes. A Tropical Christmas Wayfinding Adventure and Tea Party with Santa & Friends is Sat., Dec. 12, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Cultural Center at the Opera House in Havre de Grace. Before the show, kids join the characters and Santa in the fire hall next door for treats and photos with Santa. It's ticketed. The price isn't posted yet.

Want something more laid-back? Beers with Santa and The Grinch at Hopkins Farm Brewery is Sat., Dec. 12, 1-3 p.m. The brewery says admission and photos are free, with food trucks and live music. Confirm before you go.

Is Santa at the Christmas parades?

Havre de Grace, Fri., Dec. 4: Santa helps light the tree after the Holly Jolly Parade. Then Santa Land opens at 450 Pennington Ave. Other hours aren't posted. Confirm before you go.
Aberdeen, Sat., Dec. 5: Christmas Street has Breakfast with Santa and a parade.
Street, Sat., Dec. 5: After the 5 p.m. Highland Holiday Tractor Parade, the host lists pictures with Santa at Falling Branch Brewery. Roads close at 4 p.m., so get there early. Confirm before you go. Details: my Highland tractor parade guide.
Bel Air, Sun., Dec. 6: Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the end of the 3:30 p.m. parade.

Where is Santa in downtown Bel Air?

On Winter Wonderland opening night, Sat., Nov. 28, Santa is at Office and Main streets from 5 to 8 p.m. It's free. The Dec. 5 and Dec. 12 nights are set too, but their full lineups aren't confirmed yet.

Can I see Santa at a tree farm or the library?

Jarrettsville Nurseries: The farm opens Fri., Nov. 27, 2026, and stays open until trees sell out. The farm says Santa visits on opening day and weekends, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It's at 1041 Holy Cross Rd. in Street. Confirm before you go. Liriodendron Holiday Open House: Sat., Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the historic mansion at 502 W. Gordon St., Bel Air. The host lists visits with Santa, kids' activities, live music and gift vendors. Confirm before you go.
Pictures with Santa at the Aberdeen Library: Mon., Dec. 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m., 21 Franklin St. Free. Confirm before you go.
Norrisville Holiday Tree Lighting: Thu., Dec. 3, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Norrisville Library, 5310 Norrisville Rd., White Hall. Caroling, cocoa and a holiday ornament craft. No Santa listed, but it's a cozy North Harford night out. Confirm before you go.
Jingle, Create, and Celebrate at the Joppa Library: Sat., Dec. 5, 1:30-3 p.m. Crafts, holiday karaoke and green screen photos. No Santa listed, but it's a fun holiday stop for kids.
Pajama Story Time: Holiday Dreams at the Joppa Library: Wed., Dec. 2, 6:30-7 p.m. Wear PJs and bring a bedtime buddy.

Will Santa ride through my neighborhood?

Maybe. Several fire companies run Santa tours and post routes on their own sites and Facebook pages.

Abingdon Fire Company Santa Tour: The 2025 tour ran on many nights from Nov. 30, 6-9 p.m. on weekdays and 5-9 p.m. on weekends, with a Santa Tracker posted on Facebook. 2025 dates, 2026 not yet announced.
Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company: It runs community Santa runs and posts a Santa Tracker link on nights Santa is out. 2026 routes aren't posted yet.

Routes can change for emergency calls. Check your fire company's page in late November.

Any tips for seeing Santa?

Buy tickets early for breakfasts and the tea party. They can sell out.
Have your kids bring a letter.
Bring some cash for food and breakfasts.
Dress warm for outdoor visits. Parades are weather permitting.
